Dunkeld Weekend of Music
Friday 9 - Sunday 11 April
Enjoy a weekend of sublime music, food and wine in Dunkeld with its stunning views of the Southern Grampians.
The Australian String Quartet and guest artists Kathryn Selby (piano), Greta Bradman (soprano), Jürg Dähler (viola) and Emma-Jane Murphy (cello) will present six concerts featuring a beautiful Piano Quartet by Mozart, Dvorák’s vivacious Piano Quintet, Boccherini’s Stabat Mater for soprano and quintet and the stunning sextet in G Major by Brahms.
Each concert will be preceded by an insightful introduction by musicologist and conductor Richard Divall.
The concert venues are a highlight of the weekend and include the Mt Sturgeon Woolshed, the Royal Mail Hotel and the new Gallery situated in Allan and Maria Myers’ magnificent private garden.
A Complete Weekend ticket includes admission to all six concerts, beautiful food by award-winning chef Dan Hunter on Saturday (morning tea, picnic lunch, twilight canapés and sumptuous post-concert dinner), superb wine and a souvenir program and guide to the weekend. $600 per person.
Single tickets are also available for the 2.30pm concert at the Mt Sturgeon Woolshed on Saturday 10 April and the 11am concert on Sunday 11 April. $65 per concert.
Accommodation at Dunkeld needs to be booked separately to concert tickets. As capacity is limited, we suggest that you confirm your accommodation early, and before booking concert tickets.
