Join didjeridu virtuoso William Barton and the Australian String Quartet for an evocative hour-long program of contemporary Australian music.

Following two acclaimed performance premieres at this year's Adelaide Festival for Chamber Landscapes and last year's Port Fairy Festival, Barton joins the ASQ to present his original work "Square Circles beneath the Sand" for didjeridu and quartet. Especially commissioned for this line-up by UKARIA and the Klein Family Foundation, this spine-tingling piece showcases Barton's honed mastery of the didjeridu and its unique sound.

The program of music for didjeridu and strings features solo, quartet and quintet works by Australian composers William Barton, Sarah Hopkins, Carl Vine and the late Peter Sculthorpe.

Join us for this very special opportunity to hear these powerful works performed by some of Australia's finest musicians as part of the South Australian Museum's season of Yidaki programs.

Tickets include admission on the night to the Museum's exhibition Yidaki: didjeridu and the sound of Australia. The exhibition will be open for guests to view between 5:30pm and 8:30pm.

Please contact or 8207 7575 for group bookings of 10 or more.
